  • Your inbox

Read, sorted and answered. What needs you reaches you.

  • Your money

Invoices out, payments chased, the books kept current.

  • Your calendar

Plans on track, deadlines caught before they slip.

Not sure how to get started?
Have it set up by the team that built it.

We run our own company on it every day, and bring it into yours within four weeks.

And it’s free.
Not a trial. Not a demo.

One person, one space, the whole system. That is all your own assistant needs to run everything. Paid plans are for teams, and for power users who want to give every part of their life its own space.

How it knows you

You never explain twice.
Months later, it still knows why.

Everything only works if it knows everything. Three parts make that possible, built and tuned as one: Optakt One’s cognitive architecture.

  • 01

    A conversation that lasts months

Older conversation is condensed in layers instead of cut down to a summary, and every original word is kept. What you settled in spring still counts in autumn.

  • 02

A memory that spans time and meaning

For every theme, it understands the context as it stands and the timeline that led there. Ask for today’s price and what you quoted in May, and you get both.

  • 03

A search engine built for agents

Our own algorithm finds knowledge where meaning, words and themes intersect. In our benchmark of over 48,000 entries, the right one was in the top ten 94% of the time.

What’s inside

Every part you’d expect.
One system, one install.

Nothing missing and nothing to bolt on. Every part was built to work with the others, so what it learns reaches every job it does.

  • Any model

By subscription, by API key or on your own hardware. Switch any time, and nothing is lost.

  • Your chat

Telegram today, voice notes and files included. Slack, Teams and Discord coming soon.

  • Your tools

Share a credential and ask it to learn the service. You just built your own integration.

  • A secure vault

All your secrets in one place. Encrypted at rest, unsealed only when needed.

  • Its own hands

Not just answers. It runs the commands, writes the code and handles the files itself.

  • Teams and spaces

Members and roles. A space per topic, a scope per group, kept apart where they must be.

  • Principles

A coherent set of values out of the box, sharpened by every lesson and insight.

  • One-command install

Database, model and chat. Your agent tuned and ready within ten minutes.

  • Admin app

A modern terminal app for your whole deployment: people, spaces, models and more.

  • Open API

Every part speaks one typed protocol. Your own interface on top, built in a day.

  • Dynamic context

Coming soon: you never have to remind it. What matters right now is already on its mind.

  • Safe execution

Sandboxed on your machine or fully isolated for multiple tenants. You control access.

Yours

Nothing to build.
Nothing to lose.

    • No system to build

Nothing to assemble, customize or integrate. The foundation arrives working.

    • No vendor cloud

What it learns lives in your own database, not on someone else’s servers.

    • No model lock-in

Switch in the middle of a conversation, or run your own. Nothing is lost.

    • No starting over

The same agent, with the same memory, in every space and for everyone on the team.

    • No new app

It talks where you already talk, and works with the tools you already use.

Proof

We run Optakt Labs on it.
Every single day.

Built for our own business first. Mail, invoices, planning, outreach and this very website run through it today.

99%

of its code was written by the AI that runs on it.

9 months

of rigorous engineering, with the agent, for the agent.

13

US patent applications on its architecture.

Questions

Before you install.

Is it really free?

Yes. One person and one space get the whole system: the months-long conversation, memory and archive, the search, any model. You pay your model provider directly, or use a subscription you already have.

Which AI models can I use?

Any model, through a subscription or an API key, including models you run yourself. Switch at any time, even in the middle of a conversation, and it keeps working seamlessly without missing a beat.

Where does my data go?

What it knows stays in your own PostgreSQL database, on your own machine. The model provider you choose receives the conversation. Each service you connect receives what it needs to work.

Can’t I just use an open-source harness?

You can, and it starts in minutes. Then you choose, install and manage independent extensions. You integrate them, as far as they allow. You have to create connectors for your own services. Finally, you have to build and maintain your own system of agent files, skills and triggers.

Can’t I just use a cloud AI product?

You can, and it is ready when you sign up. But it locks you into the provider’s ecosystem. You cannot change the integrations, add custom extensions or change the model settings. When it does not work, you are stuck.

Can one client’s details show up in another client’s work?

Not if they are in separate scopes: memory, archive, credentials and members never cross between scopes. Scopes support fully isolated execution environments for multi-tenant deployments.

Can it damage anything on my machine?

Sandboxed or isolated execution mode lets you configure separate security boundaries, putting guardrails around what the agent can do. You control which files, services and resources its commands can access.

Are Telegram, Discord and Slack safe for client work?

Treat them as you would email: messages pass through the platform’s servers, so its security and data policies apply. Your agent’s knowledge stays on your own infrastructure.

What do I need to run it?

A machine running Linux or macOS, and a model provider or local inference. Optional integrations improve search and media processing. Your agent is online whenever your machine is.

What happens to what it learned if I leave?

All your conversations and your whole knowledge base are in your own PostgreSQL database. Export everything and bring it into any system that can take it in. We are happy to help with the move. Optakt Labs ↗ (opens in a new window)

Is it open source?

No. Optakt One is licensed software. However, it runs entirely on your own infrastructure. It can be extended with our open RPC protocol. The source stays closed because AI could copy nine months of engineering in a day.

Can someone set it up for us?

Yes, as a paid engagement. Optakt Labs ↗ (opens in a new window) offers companies a starter package: Optakt One on your machines, connected to your tools, running three key processes within four weeks.

What will you hand it first?
Start free today.

Free for one person, and you set it up yourself in four screens. Write to us for your licence.

01

Stability-Weighted Conversation Reduction with Cache-Preserving Boundaries

AI agents lose context as conversations grow—existing systems either truncate history or let costs grow without bound. This invention maintains quasi-infinite conversation timelines within fixed token budgets while preserving the economic benefits of provider prompt caching, ensuring that longer conversations become more cost-efficient rather than more expensive.

Application No. 64/043,576·Filed 19 April 2026·Patent Pending
02

Provider-Adaptive Cache Breakpoint Registry with Priority-Based Slot Allocation and Supersession Handling

Prompt caching can dramatically reduce AI inference costs, but existing systems treat cache positions as static. This invention dynamically manages cache positions as first-class resources with priorities, lifetimes, and graceful transitions—adapting automatically to different providers' caching backends without application-level changes.

Application No. 64/043,577·Filed 19 April 2026·Patent Pending
03

Memory Promotion Through Cache-Graded Segments

When AI agents reduce conversation context to stay within budget, important knowledge can be lost. This invention automatically promotes high-value knowledge to more durable, cache-efficient positions before reduction occurs—ensuring the agent never forgets what matters, without requiring human curation.

Application No. 64/043,579·Filed 19 April 2026·Patent Pending
04

Credential Injection Without Large Language Model Exposure

Every existing AI agent framework exposes API keys and passwords to the language model's memory, creating a fundamental security vulnerability. This invention ensures credentials are never present in any memory region accessible to the AI—they exist in a separate process and are substituted at execution time, making credential theft architecturally impossible.

Application No. 64/043,582·Filed 19 April 2026·Patent Pending
05

Programmatic Gate-Graph Execution Architecture for Large Language Model Agents

Current agent frameworks rely on the AI to self-regulate its own behavior—checking its own work with the same reasoning that produced it. This invention makes misalignment structurally impossible by defining task execution as a directed graph where every transition is verified against external reality by code, not by the model's self-assessment.

Application No. 64/043,584·Filed 19 April 2026·Patent Pending
06

Dynamic Tool Provisioning Without Cache Invalidation

AI agents need different tools at different stages of work, but changing the available tool set traditionally destroys expensive cached context. This invention enables seamless tool-set transitions that preserve cache economics—the agent gets exactly the tools it needs at each stage without paying the cost of cache rebuilds.

Application No. 64/043,588·Filed 19 April 2026·Patent Pending
07

Activation-Tree Access Architecture for Agent Knowledge Navigation

Existing AI systems access knowledge through flat retrieval—search, get chunks, hope for relevance. This invention models all structured knowledge as navigable trees with three independent access dimensions, allowing the agent to surgically locate and extract exactly what it needs across memory, files, archives, and any structured data source.

Application No. 64/043,592·Filed 19 April 2026·Patent Pending
08

Single Conversation Domain Model with Provider-Agnostic Surface Translation and Structured Message Addressing

AI agents that operate across multiple channels and multiple AI providers face a fragmentation problem—each surface and each provider has its own conversation format. This invention establishes a single canonical conversation record from which all surfaces and providers are translations, with stable per-message identity that lets the AI reference and act on specific messages across any channel.

Application No. 64/043,595·Filed 19 April 2026·Patent Pending
09

Predictive Tool-Result Admission Control for Bounded-Context Large Language Model Agents

A single oversized tool result can silently corrupt an AI agent's reasoning by pushing critical context out of its working memory. This invention predicts the impact of tool results before they enter the conversation and rejects those that would exceed quality thresholds—with structured guidance that helps the agent adapt its approach rather than fail.

Application No. 64/043,597·Filed 19 April 2026·Patent Pending
10

Multi-Regime Context Budget Management with Workload-Class-Adaptive Reduction for Large Language Model Agents

Different types of AI work have fundamentally different context requirements, but existing systems operate with a single fixed budget. This invention automatically selects the optimal operating regime based on what the agent is doing—interactive conversation, deep execution, background processing—each with its own budget profile and reduction strategy.

Application No. 64/043,601·Filed 19 April 2026·Patent Pending
11

Latent Knowledge Extraction and Reconciliation via Idle-Triggered Composable Maintenance Phases for Large Language Model Agents

Current AI agents that review their own history use single-phase, fixed-trigger approaches. This invention introduces composable multi-phase maintenance cycles triggered by idle time, knowledge accumulation, staleness, or post-task hooks—with forced maintenance windows for continuous-work deployments. Each phase operates under programmatically enforced constraints, producing knowledge consolidation that scales with accumulated experience.

Application No. 64/043,604·Filed 19 April 2026·Patent Pending
12

Federated Structured-Knowledge Integration with Provenance Attestation and Policy-Gated Reconciliation for Large Language Model Agents

Every AI agent today learns in isolation—knowledge gained by one deployment cannot benefit another. This invention enables independent agent deployments to exchange structured knowledge with cryptographic provenance and operator-controlled trust policies, creating network effects where every participating agent benefits from collective learning without any central authority owning the aggregated knowledge.

Application No. 64/043,605·Filed 19 April 2026·Patent Pending
13

Multi-Tenant Memory Access Control for Large Language Model Agents

When AI becomes shared infrastructure serving multiple participants, each person's knowledge must remain sovereign. This invention enforces granular per-role access control over persistent agent memory at the context-assembly boundary—the point where memory becomes input to the AI. No mandatory administrator, no ceiling on participant count, and tool responses filtered by identity before the AI sees them. The architecture works with any identity model and at any structural granularity.

Application No. 64/044,725·Filed 20 April 2026·Patent Pending

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 October 2026

Who we are

Optakt Labs OÜ (registry code 16248104, VAT EE102380068, Viru väljak 2, 10111 Tallinn) is an Estonian company and the maker of Optakt One. We are the controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at max@optakt.io.

The short version

Optakt One runs on your own machine. Your conversations, memory, archive, files and credentials stay in your installation. We never receive them, and we cannot read them. What reaches us is what we need to give you a licence and keep it working.

What this policy covers

This website (optakt.ai), the installer at get.optakt.ai, and the Optakt One software. Our consulting work is covered by the privacy policy at optakt.io/privacy ↗ (opens in a new window).

What reaches us

This website

Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes the technical data every web request carries (such as your IP address and browser) to deliver the page and protect it from abuse.

We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, for every visitor. It sets no cookies and keeps no identifier beyond a hash that expires within a day, so it cannot follow you across sites or visits.

We also use Google Analytics, to see how people find and read the site, and Google Ads, to measure whether our ads lead to visits and to requests, such as a click on a plan. Google sets cookies (such as _ga and _gcl) and receives your IP address, your browser and device, the pages you visit and those clicks. We send those clicks to Google from our own server as well, so they are counted when a browser blocks Google’s script. Where the law requires your consent first, as in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, none of this loads and nothing is sent to Google until you accept. Elsewhere it runs unless you opt out. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Google still counts our ad results, but in its restricted data processing mode: the data is used only to measure our campaigns, never to personalise ads. Once measurement runs, our server re-issues Google’s cookies on our own domain so they last their normal lifetime (up to 13 months) rather than the few days some browsers allow. You can change your choice at any time under Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

Meta Pixel and Conversions API measure visits and requests from our Facebook and Instagram ads. Where prior consent is required, neither runs before you accept. Elsewhere you can opt out under Cookie settings. Meta receives the page address, browser information, IP address, advertising cookies (_fbp and _fbc) and a shared event identifier that prevents browser and server reports counting the same request twice. Global Privacy Control enables Meta Limited Data Use. Meta Platforms is a recipient of this measurement data.

LinkedIn Insight Tag measures visits and access requests from our LinkedIn ads. LinkedIn receives technical browser and page information and may set advertising identifiers, including the first-party li_fat_id cookie. The tag follows the same consent choice and stays off when you decline or send Global Privacy Control. LinkedIn is a recipient of this measurement data.

The X website pixel and Conversion API measure visits and access requests from our X ads. X receives the page address, IP address, browser information, X click identifiers where available and a conversion identifier. The browser pixel and server reports follow the same advertising consent choice and stay off when you decline. Global Privacy Control enables X's Restricted Data Use for measurement without advertising optimisation. X is a recipient of this measurement data.

Your licence

When you get and use a licence, we process:

  • Your licence key, and the name and email address you give us for it
  • A one-way hash of your machine’s identifier, so a licence can be activated on a machine
  • Periodic signals that the licence is in use (when the software last checked in)
  • Payment details for paid plans, handled by our payment provider; we never see full card numbers

Licences are managed through Keygen, which also delivers the software downloads. The installer at get.optakt.ai is served by Vercel.

When you write to us

Your message and address, to answer you.

What stays with you

Everything your agent knows and does stays in your installation: conversations, memory, archive, files, and the credentials of the services you connect, which are kept encrypted. The software sends no usage data or content to us.

To think, your agent sends the conversation to the AI model provider you choose. That provider processes it under its own terms. A model you run yourself keeps it from any provider. Each service you connect (mail, calendar, chat) exchanges with your agent only what you authorise.

Google user data

When you connect a Google account to Optakt One, the access you grant (for example to your calendar or mail) is used only by your own installation, to let your agent work with that data for you. It is not sent to Optakt Labs, not sold, not used for advertising, and not used by us to train AI models. Optakt One’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can revoke access at any time in your Google account settings.

YouTube API Services

Optakt One uses YouTube API Services to publish and manage videos, and to report on how they perform, on YouTube channels whose owners have authorized it. By using this feature you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s Privacy Policy also applies.

When a channel owner authorizes Optakt One, it accesses only what it needs to publish to that channel and report on it: video IDs, titles, descriptions, thumbnails, captions, playlists and privacy status, and the channel’s own statistics and YouTube Analytics reports (views, watch time, subscribers). It does not access other users’ data, and it never sells YouTube data, shares it or uses it for advertising. Access tokens are encrypted at rest. YouTube data we store is refreshed or deleted within 30 days. Public statistics of the channel’s own videos (views, likes, comments), and metrics we calculate from them, are kept for up to 36 months.

You can revoke Optakt One’s access at any time at security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. We then delete the stored tokens and YouTube data within 7 days. To request deletion sooner, write to max@optakt.io.

Why, and on what basis

  • Issuing and checking licences, delivering the software and billing: to perform our contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b))
  • Answering your messages and protecting our services: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f))
  • Visit counting with Vercel Web Analytics, and Google Analytics and Ads where no consent is required: our legitimate interest in understanding and growing our audience (Art. 6(1)(f)), which you can object to under Cookie settings
  • Google Analytics and Ads where the law requires consent: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time under Cookie settings
  • Keeping accounting records: our legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c))

How long we keep it

Licence data for as long as your licence exists, and up to a year after it ends. Messages for as long as the conversation needs them. Billing records for as long as Estonian accounting law requires, currently seven years. Analytics data for 14 months, after which Google deletes it; Google’s cookies expire after at most two years, and your cookie choice stays in your browser until you clear it.

Who else processes it

We share data only with the providers who help us run this: Vercel (hosting and visit counting), Keygen (licensing and downloads), our payment provider, our email provider, and Google (Analytics and Ads, as described above). Some of them are based in the United States; transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell data, and we share none with data brokers.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, a copy in a portable format, correction, deletion or restriction, and you can object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Write to max@optakt.io; we answer within 30 days. You can also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon) or the supervisory authority where you live.

Children

Optakt One is not meant for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change matters for how your data is used, we tell licence holders by email before it takes effect.

Terms of Use

Last updated: 13 October 2026

Agreement

These terms are between you and Optakt Labs OÜ (registry code 16248104, Viru väljak 2, 10111 Tallinn, Estonia). They apply to Optakt One, its installer and updates, and this website. By installing or using Optakt One, you accept them. If you use it for a company, you accept them for that company and confirm you may do so.

Consulting engagements with Optakt Labs are governed by their own agreement, not by these terms.

Your licence

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Optakt One within the limits of your plan (such as the number of users), as described on our pricing. The free plan is for one person. Paid plans are billed in advance for each period and renew until you cancel.

The software stays ours. You may not:

  • Resell, sublicense or rent it, or offer it to others as a hosted service, without our written agreement
  • Get around the licence checks or the limits of your plan
  • Reverse engineer it, except where the law allows it regardless of these terms
  • Use it for anything unlawful, or to harm others

Your data and your agent

Optakt One runs on your machine. What your agent learns and produces belongs to you, and stays in your installation; see our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for that installation: the machine, its security, and your backups.

You choose the AI models and the services your agent connects to, and you are responsible for following their terms and for having the right to grant access to them. You are also responsible for what you ask your agent to do and for how you use its work.

Features that use YouTube API Services are subject to the YouTube Terms of Service.

AI output

Your agent works with AI models, and AI can be wrong. Its output is not professional advice. Check what matters before you rely on it, especially in legal, medical, financial and safety matters, and before it acts on your behalf in ways that are hard to undo.

Updates

We improve Optakt One through new releases. Features may change, and we may stop supporting old versions. We do not promise that the software will be free of errors or available without interruption.

Warranty and liability

Optakt One is provided as it is, without warranties beyond those the law requires. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or the rights consumers have under the law of their country.

Ending

You can stop using Optakt One and cancel a paid plan at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. We may end your licence if you seriously breach these terms. Either way, your data stays in your installation.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we tell licence holders by email at least 30 days before a material change takes effect.

Law and disputes

Estonian law applies. Disputes go to the courts of Tallinn (Harju County Court), unless the consumer protection law of your country gives you another forum.
